KIZUNE ENTERTAINMENT

The journey that eventually led to Kizune Entertainment began in 2023, after Suzette Kim completed her education as an Event Manager. During the summer that followed, while managing her partner’s band, she began searching for ways to help them grow and find opportunities to perform live.

With limited industry contacts as a newly graduated professional, Suzette started exploring what she could create herself. That search led to the founding of Bulgasal IF in the autumn of 2023, at the same time as she began her studies in Music Business Development. What started as an initiative to create opportunities for one band soon grew into something much larger.

From this foundation, Bulgasal Metal Fest was born — an independent metal festival created to give bands a stage and audiences a new gathering place for heavy music. The festival quickly became the starting point for a growing network of artists, collaborations and new creative ideas.

As the projects continued to grow, more artists and organizers began reaching out for help with shows, collaborations and new events. With several festivals, conventions and artist collaborations emerging, the original non-profit structure behind Bulgasal was no longer enough to support the expanding vision.

Suzette’s journey has also been shaped by personal experiences. Living with ADHD and CPTSD has played a significant role in shaping her resilience, creativity and determination to build meaningful projects. Within the music and live event industry, where pressure and uncertainty are often part of everyday life, Suzette believes it is important to speak openly about mental health and to create environments where people can grow without burning out.

These experiences have influenced how Kizune Entertainment approaches collaboration, leadership and community — with a strong focus on empathy, sustainability and the well-being of the people behind the music.

This led to the creation of Kizune Entertainment AB, a production and management company that now serves as the home for all projects, productions and creative initiatives developed by the team.

The Meaning Behind Kizune

The name Kizuneis inspired by Japanese mythology and language.

In folklore, a Kitsuneis a mythical nine-tailed fox. According to legend, the fox grows a new tail with every experience and stage of wisdom. This symbolism reflects Suzette’s own journey — both personally and within the music industry — where each challenge and project brings new knowledge and growth.

The name also blends two Japanese concepts:

Kitsune– the fox, symbolizing movement, creativity and transformation.
Kizuna– the bond between people, representing connection, trust and community.

Together they form Kizune
